Downtown Faribault holds Crazy Days July 31 and August 1
Downtown Faribault is going on a Blast from the Past during Crazy Days Friday July 31 and Saturday August 1. There will be great deals galore, sidewalk vendors, and fun for the whole family! Healthfinders will be providing free blood pressure checks, Big Brothers Big Sisters will hosting sidewalk chalk fun, and additionally, the new Rice County Sheriff and Faribault Police Department Mobile Command Center will be on site to be explore. Other fun includes the Rice County Water Patrol on hand to talk about invasive species, and hula hoop demonstrations.
Faribault Main Street Crazy Days committee chair and owner of Faribault Jeremy Chavis says “Crazy Days is going to be great this year, so come to downtown Faribault for great deals and be sure to come down for the new evening event Crazy Night Pub Crawl!”
About Faribault Main Street
The Faribault Main Street Program is a community-based effort to revitalize Faribault’s Central Business District. It is supported by the Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce and by the City of Faribault Economic Development Authority; however, it is open to members and non-members alike. This program is based on the National Main Street Approach that has been used in over 1,700 communities during the past 25 years. The Faribault Main Street Program is organized to unify the Central Business District, with emphasis on Central Avenue, to create an attractive destination in which businesses prosper, the community benefits and residents and visitors enjoy a quality downtown experience.
